Care and safety
Keep your vibrator clean, safe and beautiful for years: cleaning steps, body-safe materials, travel tips, storage and battery care.
A well-made toy deserves a little looking after. The good news is that caring for a body-safe vibrator is quick and simple: a gentle clean after each use, somewhere sensible to store it and a few habits around charging.
This hub collects everything you need to know. We explain how to clean a toy according to its water rating, what "body-safe" really means and why we only sell non-porous materials, how to pack a toy for a weekend away or a flight, and how to look after the lithium-ion battery inside a rechargeable model so it lasts.
Our toys are made from body-safe silicone, ABS or both, materials that are non-porous and free from phthalates. Some, such as the Lune Rechargeable Mini Bullet and the Duet Dual Massage Wand, are fully waterproof (IPX7), which makes cleaning especially easy. Small designs like the Rouge Lipstick Bullet are ready for life in a handbag or suitcase.
Care also includes privacy. Every order arrives in plain, unbranded packaging, with BH Commerce Ltd on your bank statement, so your toy is yours alone from the moment it arrives.
For a quick reference, see our materials and cleaning page, or browse the waterproof range.
